It is a long but easy drive — toll highway almost the whole way, with the Autovía del Coral running past La Romana and San Pedro. Because it crosses two toll plazas and burns most of a morning, this rate is only worth it when the flight really is at PUJ; if you have a choice of airports, flying into SDQ is the cheaper arrival for Juan Dolio and we will tell you so.
