We recommend a pickup 3.5 to 4 hours before your flight time from La Romana or Casa de Campo. This is our own operating figure for a genuine highway route: 60 to 80 minutes east through Higüey toward PUJ, with the range reflecting how much that stretch varies with time of day rather than any resort-side delay. Casa de Campo villas add a security step at the estate gate, where the guard confirms the vehicle and passenger names before releasing the car, and that alone can take ten minutes if it is not arranged ahead of time. We register the vehicle with estate security using your villa number in advance so the gate is quick rather than a bottleneck, and we still build the highway drive and the PUJ counter and security into the 3.5 to 4 hour window.
