Uvero Alto is a real drive, not a Bávaro suburb
Uvero Alto is the far north end of the coast, well past Macao, and it is the longest run we do inside the Punta Cana area. The strip holds the big isolated resorts — the Finest, Nickelodeon, Excellence and Dreams-style properties — set on a wide open beach with almost nothing commercial around them. That isolation is the point for most guests, and it is also why the transfer matters: there is no short taxi hop back to Bávaro for dinner, and shared shuttles here often stop at three hotels before yours. Booking sites frequently describe Uvero Alto as "near Bávaro", which sets the wrong expectation; plan on 45 to 60 minutes each way. Late arrivals are normal on this strip and are fully covered — we track the flight and wait, and the driver knows the unlit resort entrances.
