Where Dreams Onyx sits and where we stop

Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa is in Uvero Alto, and the name is the single biggest source of wrong quotes we see. It is not Dreams Cap Cana, which sits 10 to 15 minutes from PUJ inside the Cap Cana enclave at $29 Standard, and it is not Dreams Flora, which sits in the Cabeza de Toro and Bávaro belt much closer to the airport. Dreams Onyx is the far north property, 45 to 60 minutes away, at the Uvero Alto rate. Getting this wrong at the curb is how people end up arguing about money at midnight, so we write the resort name and the price into the confirmation before the day. The approach is a quiet coastal road with long unlit stretches and few landmarks; the driver knows the turn-off, registers your name at the gate and stops at the lobby doors.

45–60 min in normal traffic. North past Macao on the coastal road, then the Uvero Alto resort entrance — 45 to 60 minutes in total. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.

In the PUJ arrivals hall with a name sign, then drop-off at the Dreams Onyx lobby in Uvero Alto — not Dreams Cap Cana and not Dreams Flora.
Is Uvero Alto 20 minutes from the airport?
No. Uvero Alto is 45–60 min from PUJ — the far north end of the coast, well past Macao. Listings that describe it as "near Bávaro" or "20 minutes from the airport" are wrong, and shared shuttles on this strip often stop at two or three other resorts first. Your private car goes straight to Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa.

No — Uvero Alto is $60 Standard and $119 VIP one-way per vehicle, while Bávaro hotels are $35 Standard and $79 VIP. Uvero Alto is farther than Bávaro, so the rate is $60 / $119, not $35 / $79.
