What the VIP tier changes
Standard is a well-maintained air-conditioned SUV or minivan — the same class of vehicle most resorts use for their own guests. VIP is a luxury SUV for one to six passengers, or an executive Sprinter for seven to fourteen: newer, quieter, noticeably more legroom and luggage space, leather trim, and enough room that six adults with full suitcases are not negotiating for footwell space.
Everything else is the same. The name sign is the same sign. The waiting policy is the same policy. If a Standard vehicle is right for you, book Standard — we would rather have you back next winter than upsell you once.
Where VIP genuinely earns its price
Long routes. On a 10-minute run to Cap Cana the vehicle barely matters. On the 90-minute run to Miches, the 3-hour run to Santo Domingo or the 3 to 4 hours to Las Terrenas, the difference between an SUV and a luxury SUV is the difference between arriving rested and arriving stiff.
Full vehicles. Six adults with six large cases fit in a Standard SUV on paper; in a luxury SUV they fit without anyone holding a bag on their lap.
Arrivals that set a tone: a wedding couple, a client you are collecting, parents flying in for the first time, a villa stay in Cap Cana or Juanillo where the vehicle pulls up in front of the house.
What we will not claim
There is no separate VIP lane through immigration and no way for a ground transport operator to shorten the arrivals process at PUJ — anyone promising that is selling something else. Fast-track and lounge services are sold by the airport and by third parties, not by us. The VIP tier starts at the arrivals walkway, like every other transfer.

- What is the actual difference between Standard and VIP?
- The vehicle. Standard is an SUV or minivan; VIP is a luxury SUV for 1–6 passengers or an executive Sprinter for 7–14. The meet, flight tracking, waiting policy and support are identical on both tiers.
- Does VIP get me through the airport faster?
- No. Nobody providing ground transport can speed up immigration or baggage at PUJ. Anything sold as an airport fast-track is a separate airport product, not part of a transfer.
- Is VIP worth it for a short transfer?
- Honestly, rarely. For Cap Cana or Punta Cana Village at 10 to 15 minutes, Standard is the sensible choice. VIP earns its money on Uvero Alto, Miches, La Romana, Samaná and Santo Domingo.
- How many passengers fit in a VIP vehicle?
- One to six in the luxury SUV, seven to fourteen in the executive Sprinter. The VIP van surcharge on local zones is $40.
