Where Cabeza de Toro sits
Cabeza de Toro is the quiet stretch between Punta Cana Village and the start of the Bávaro strip, and it is a real zone of its own rather than a corner of Bávaro. On the sea side you have a short line of beach hotels and small resorts on a calmer, less built-up beach than Los Corales. On the lagoon side you have the marina and the dock area that most catamaran, party-boat and fishing charters leave from, plus the dolphin park nearby. That mix is why we keep the page separate: the road in is different, the drive is shorter than Bávaro, and the price is $32 rather than the Bávaro rate. Guests who book a boat here often arrive on a tight schedule, so tell us the dock time and we set the pickup around it.
