What private actually buys you at PUJ
The difference between a private transfer and everything else at PUJ is time, not luxury. A shared shuttle leaves when it is full and drops in route order, which regularly adds 60 to 90 minutes to a 25-minute drive to Bávaro. A curb taxi leaves immediately but the price is negotiated while you stand there with your luggage. A private transfer is booked before you fly, so the rate is already agreed and the vehicle is already assigned to your flight number.
We watch the flight, not the clock. If you land three hours late, the driver arrives three hours late with you — the same driver, the same price, no re-booking. That is the single most valuable part of the product and the reason almost nobody who has done a night landing at PUJ goes back to the curb.

How the pickup runs, step by step
PUJ arrivals is open-air and busy, and the meeting point is not inside the baggage hall. After you collect your bags you walk through customs and out through a covered walkway lined with tour and timeshare desks. Keep walking. Our driver stands past that line, at the end of the walkway, with a printed sign showing the name you gave us.
Plan 25 to 45 minutes from wheels-down to that sign on a normal day — longer when three wide-body flights land together. There is no rush on our side; the driver is already paid to wait.

Pricing: per vehicle, not per person
Every rate on this site is one-way, per vehicle, for one to six passengers, taxes included. Two people pay the same as six. Seven to fourteen passengers move up to a passenger van, which adds a fixed surcharge on local zones rather than a per-head fee.
There are two tiers. Standard is an SUV or minivan, air-conditioned, bottled water, the normal product. VIP is a luxury SUV or executive Sprinter with more space and a higher trim. Both include the same meet, the same flight tracking and the same waiting policy — VIP buys the vehicle, not better service.
When a private transfer is the wrong answer
If you are one or two people staying in Cap Cana, ten minutes from the terminal, and you are comfortable negotiating at the curb, the saving is small. If you are renting a car for the whole trip anyway, you only need us for the airport leg if you plan to pick the car up in town. - Is the price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle, one-way, taxes included. One to six passengers pay the same rate. Seven to fourteen passengers move to a van, which adds $20 on Standard and $40 on VIP for local zones.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
- Nothing changes and nothing extra is charged. We track the flight number you gave us and move the driver to the new landing time. If you are diverted to Santo Domingo, message us on WhatsApp and we re-plan from there.
- How long does the driver wait?
- As long as immigration and baggage take. Waiting is free on arrivals because the flight is tracked. We only ask that you message us if you are held up for an unusual reason, such as a lost bag claim.
- Do I pay in advance?
- No prepayment is required to hold a transfer. Most guests pay the driver in cash — US dollars or Dominican pesos — at drop-off. Bank transfer in advance is available if you prefer.
- Do you run shared shuttles?
