Group transfers from PUJ: vans, Sprinters and minibuses

Above six passengers the question stops being price and becomes logistics: how many bags, how many flights, and who is standing in arrivals at 11pm holding the plan together. This page is how we handle groups from seven people to a full wedding block.

Vehicle sizes and what actually fits

The published passenger counts assume real luggage, not hand baggage. A 14-seat van carries 14 people comfortably only if bags are normal size — a golf group with clubs, or a family with strollers and car seats, effectively loses two seats to the trunk. Tell us the bag count with the head count and we send the right vehicle instead of discovering the problem at the curb.

  • 1–6 passengers: SUV or minivan
  • 7–14 passengers: passenger van (+$20 Standard / +$40 VIP on local zones)
  • 7–14 with a higher trim: executive Sprinter
  • 15–40+: multiple vehicles dispatched together, or a coach for the larger end
  • Oversized items — golf bags, surfboards, wheelchairs, instruments — add a vehicle class, not a hidden fee

Groups arriving on different flights

This is the normal case for weddings, reunions and corporate trips, and it is the one that goes wrong most often. Do not try to make everyone wait for the last flight. PUJ arrivals has almost no seating and very little shade, and a two-hour wait with a group turns into a bad first evening.

We dispatch per flight. Each arriving sub-group gets its own vehicle, its own driver and its own sign, and the whole block is coordinated by one dispatcher on one WhatsApp thread. You send us the flight list once; we build the schedule around it and confirm each pickup as it lands.

Wedding blocks, corporate groups and bachelor parties

For wedding groups we usually add a welcome sign with the couple's name rather than individual guest names, so arriving guests know where to go without a list. For corporate arrivals we can run the same block with individual name signs and per-vehicle manifests if your travel desk needs them.

Bachelor and bachelorette groups: we carry you, we do not police you, but drivers will stop the trip if anyone is unsafe. Alcohol in the vehicle is at the driver's discretion and glass is a no. That is the whole policy.

Return legs for a group

Departures are harder than arrivals because PUJ check-in queues in the 10am to 1pm wave are long. For a group of more than fifteen, add 30 minutes to the standard departure buffer for your zone, and consider splitting the group across two pickup times rather than one convoy — a single lobby load of 25 people with luggage takes longer than anyone plans for.

Frequently asked

What is the largest group you can move?
There is no hard ceiling. Above 14 passengers we dispatch multiple vehicles together so the group arrives as one; for 30 to 40+ we can bring a coach where the road and the hotel entrance allow it. Send the head count and the arrival dates and we build the plan.
Our group lands on four different flights. Do we need four bookings?
One booking, four pickups. Send us the flight list with names and we assign a vehicle per flight, coordinated on one WhatsApp thread so nobody waits in arrivals for the next plane.
How is a group priced?
Per vehicle, at the zone rate, plus the van surcharge where a van is needed. Nothing is charged per person. Three vans to Bávaro is three times the Bávaro van rate — no group markup.
Can you fit golf bags or surfboards?
Yes, but tell us in advance. Oversized gear changes the vehicle we send. A group of eight golfers with clubs needs more space than a group of eight with suitcases.
Can one person pay for the whole group?
Yes. One organiser can settle every vehicle at once, in cash or by bank transfer in advance, and we send a single confirmation covering all legs.
