Boca Chica is the shallow-reef beach town just east of Santo Domingo and about ten minutes from Las Américas airport (SDQ), roughly 175 km from Punta Cana airport. Almost nobody chooses this drive for the beach alone: the usual reasons are a connecting flight out of SDQ the next morning, a cruise call or marina berth at Boca Chica, business in the Las Américas free-trade zone, or a family staying in one of the town's apartments. The road is toll highway nearly the whole way and the last stretch past the airport is the only part that regularly slows down. If your onward flight is from SDQ, say so when you book — we time the drive against the departure rather than against the landing, and we will often suggest the airport drop instead of the town.

Beachfront hotels drop at their own entrance. In the streets behind Calle Duarte the town closes several blocks to traffic in the evening, so the driver may stop one block away and walk you in with the luggage rather than circle. For the marina, give us the dock name and we drop at the gate.
