Bayahibe is a different coast

Bayahibe is not a hop along the Punta Cana beach strip. You leave the resort corridor entirely and take the highway south-west toward La Romana, which is why the price and the hour-plus drive look nothing like a Bávaro run. At the end of it you get two connected places: Bayahibe village, the small fishing town where the Saona and Catalina island boats leave from, with its dive shops, marina and low-key restaurants; and Dominicus, the beach a few minutes on with the all-inclusive resorts and the calm swimming water. Guests come here for the islands and the diving rather than the mega-resort strip. Boat departures are early — most Saona trips board between 7 and 8 in the morning — so if you are arriving the night before, tell us and we plan the drive around it.

How the Bayahibe pickup runs

1. 1Send the Bayahibe or Dominicus hotel, flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp.
2. 2We reply with the written price and confirm the vehicle for the highway run.
3. 3After immigration and baggage, walk out to arrivals and look for the sign with your name.
4. 4Direct 60–75 minute highway drive to the village or your Dominicus resort. No other guests in the car.

Dominicus beach resorts, Bayahibe village hotels and apartments, plus the dive centres and marina. Tell us the property and we confirm the drop-off.

Dominicus resorts drop at the lobby past the security barrier. In Bayahibe village several streets are narrow or pedestrian near the water, so we drop at the nearest vehicle access and the driver walks the luggage to the door.

Bigger groups

7–14 passengers ride in a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP for this zone. Golf bags, strollers, wheelchairs and surf gear are fine — give us the luggage count and we send the right vehicle instead of guessing at the curb.
