Viva Dominicus Beach (Viva Wyndham) is an older property on the Dominicus strip, built as two adjoining sections with separate reception areas, so the section name matters once the car reaches the resort. The run from PUJ is 60 to 75 minutes west on the Coral highway past Higüey, then the shared Dominicus checkpoint that all resorts on this road pass through. Because the two sections sit side by side with a shared internal road, a driver without the section name on the sheet can drop guests at the wrong entrance, which on a run this long means an unnecessary extra walk with luggage. We take the section name with the booking and confirm it back in writing, and since this is a private car rather than a shared shuttle, there are no other stops along the highway or the strip to add time to an already long transfer.

How the pickup works

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $110. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
