Why the return leg is the one that goes wrong
Arrivals are forgiving — if something slips, you are already in the country and the driver is tracking you. Departures are not. A missed pickup on departure day means a taxi negotiated in a hurry at hotel reception, at whatever the rate is that morning, with a check-in queue waiting at the other end.
When both legs are booked together we set the return pickup at the time of booking and confirm it again the day before, by WhatsApp, to the same thread you already used on arrival. You do not have to re-explain anything to anyone.
How the return pickup time is calculated
We work backwards from your flight, not from a generic rule. The buffer is your zone's drive time at the worst realistic traffic band, plus the PUJ check-in reality for your departure wave, plus a margin. In practice that lands at roughly 2.5 hours before the flight for Cap Cana and Punta Cana Village, 3 hours for Bávaro and Arena Gorda, and 3.5 hours for Uvero Alto — more from Miches, Bayahíbe, La Romana or Samaná.
PUJ check-in queues are heavily flight-dependent. The mid-morning bank of North American and European departures is the worst; a 6pm departure is calmer. When your flight is in a busy wave we say so and add time rather than cutting it fine.
Changing the return after you arrive
Plans change and we do not charge for that. Moving the return pickup time, changing the hotel you are collected from, or splitting a group across two pickups is a WhatsApp message, not a re-booking. If your outbound flight is cancelled or moved, tell us as soon as the airline tells you and we rebuild the leg around the new time.
Round-trip pricing
Both legs at the zone rate, with 5% off the return. Price is per vehicle, taxes included, and nothing is due up front. You can pay each leg to its driver or settle both at once on arrival.

Book on WhatsAppFrequently asked
- How much does booking both ways save?
- 5% off the return leg. The bigger saving is not having to find a ride on departure morning at whatever the local rate happens to be.
- Do I have to fix the return time when I book?
- Give us your outbound flight and we calculate the pickup. You can change the time later by WhatsApp at no charge.
- Will it be the same driver both ways?
- Often, but we do not promise it — it depends on the schedule that week. What is guaranteed is the same dispatch thread, the same price and the same confirmation the day before.
- What if my return flight changes?
- Message us with the new flight and we move the pickup. There is no change fee. If the trip is cancelled entirely, nothing is owed because nothing is prepaid.
- Can I book the return only?
- Yes. A hotel-to-PUJ one-way is a normal booking at the same zone rate; the 5% simply applies to the second leg when both are booked together.
