Where Finest sits and where we stop

Finest Punta Cana is on the Uvero Alto strip, roughly 45 to 60 minutes north of PUJ, behind its own isolated gate. The name causes real confusion: guests searching for it sometimes land on Barceló or Lopesan properties, which are in Bávaro, 20 to 30 minutes from the airport and priced differently. This page is the Uvero Alto resort only. The practical difference is distance and darkness — the gate sits on a quiet stretch with no commercial frontage, so a shared shuttle or a street taxi that does not know the turn will cost you time you do not have after a long flight. Your driver goes to the Finest gate, registers your name from the booking we hold, and stops at the lobby doors. Late arrivals are normal here and are covered by flight tracking at no extra charge.

In the PUJ arrivals hall with a name sign, then drop-off at the Finest Punta Cana lobby in Uvero Alto — not the similarly named Bávaro resorts.
Is Uvero Alto 20 minutes from the airport?
No. Uvero Alto is 45–60 min from PUJ — the far north end of the coast, well past Macao. Listings that describe it as "near Bávaro" or "20 minutes from the airport" are wrong, and shared shuttles on this strip often stop at two or three other resorts first. Your private car goes straight to Finest Punta Cana.
