Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana is an adults-only property on the Uvero Alto strip, a genuine 45 to 60 minutes north of PUJ at $60 Standard and $119 VIP. The name suggests Punta Cana town, which is where the expectation goes wrong: this is the far north coast, past Macao, not the airport belt and not Bávaro. Plan on close to an hour each way and price your excursions accordingly. Access is a single gate off the coastal road with a security post that takes your name from our booking sheet; neighbouring resorts sit only minutes away on the same dark stretch, so the driver aims at the Live Aqua entrance specifically rather than the first barrier. Flight tracking is included, so a delayed or midnight landing simply means the driver is already waiting when you clear customs.
