Allow 45 to 60 minutes from PUJ along the coastal road past Macao; this is not a short drive from Bávaro or Cap Cana, whatever a small map preview suggests. The resort accepts guests aged 18 and over. At the front gate, the guard checks the booking name against the guest list before letting the car through — a mismatch can cause a delay at the barrier. The approach includes long unlit stretches between resorts, with few landmarks after dark, so the driver relies on knowing the turn-off rather than on signage alone. After the gate, a short internal drive leads to W's own lobby, separate from the neighbouring resorts along the same coast. We register the resort name and passenger details in advance to avoid unnecessary questions at the gate.
