Where Playa Palmera sits and where we stop

Playa Palmera is one of the smaller beachfront properties on the Uvero Alto coast, on a side road rather than the main resort row, and the final approach is a short unlit stretch that drivers need to know in advance. The full run from PUJ is 45 to 60 minutes; after dark, plan on the upper figure, because the coastal road has speed bumps through villages that nobody takes at speed. Going back, we set the pickup with that stretch counted in rather than working from a map estimate. The car stops at the resort reception, not the beach gate.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 45–60 minute drive up the coastal road, then the short side road to the Playa Palmera reception.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
