What Los Corales means for a driver

Los Corales is the low-rise residential pocket behind Playa Los Corales, immediately south of El Cortecito: villa streets, small condo communities, rental apartments and a handful of boutique hotels, plus the beach clubs and restaurants on Calle Pedro Mir. It is the part of Bávaro where most independent villa rentals sit, which makes arrivals a gate question rather than a driving question. Nearly every block has a guard, several communities keep a written list and will not open for a name that is not on it, and rental managers vary in how early they submit it. We ask for the villa or building name, the community and the reservation name when you book, then pass the driver name, vehicle and plate ahead of your landing so the barrier opens on arrival instead of after a phone call.

How the Los Corales pickup runs

2. 2We pass the driver, vehicle and plate to your rental manager for the gate list and confirm the price in writing.
3. 3After immigration and baggage, walk out to arrivals and look for the sign with your name.
4. 4Direct drive to the community gate and on to your door. No other passengers in the car.

Hotels, villas and drop-off points

Los Corales is mostly private rentals rather than hotels. If you booked through a manager or a platform, send the exact listing name — several communities use near-identical building names, and the guard works from the list, not from the listing photos.

Standard drop-off is at your villa or building door inside the community. If the manager has not sent the list in time, the guard will call them while you wait in the car; we push for the clearance the day before to avoid that. Beach clubs on Playa Los Corales are dropped at their street entrance.

Bigger groups

7–14 passengers ride in a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP for this zone. Golf bags, strollers, wheelchairs and surf gear are fine — give us the luggage count and we send the right vehicle instead of guessing at the curb.
