Where Dreams Playa Esmeralda sits and where we stop

Dreams Playa Esmeralda is the family half of the Playa Esmeralda pair, next door to Secrets on the same beach and the same access road, and it is nowhere near the Dreams properties in Punta Cana, Cap Cana or Uvero Alto. Families feel this drive more than couples do: 90 to 150 minutes with children means car seats, a comfort stop and enough luggage space for strollers, all of which we size before the car leaves Punta Cana. Tell us the ages of the children on WhatsApp and the seats travel with the driver. The road runs north past Macao and Uvero Alto, then west along the coast, and the final kilometres are hilly and slow — an early-afternoon landing can still mean a late-afternoon check-in, so plan the first night accordingly.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 90–150 minute drive north and west to the Dreams Playa Esmeralda reception, with a comfort stop if you want one.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
