Secrets Playa Esmeralda shares an access road with Dreams Playa Esmeralda, and the two names get mixed up constantly at the gate — adults-only Secrets and family Dreams sit within sight of each other on the same beach. We put the exact property on the booking so the driver turns into the right entrance instead of dropping you at your neighbour's lobby with the luggage already out. The drive itself is the long one: north past Macao and Uvero Alto, then the coast road west, 90 to 150 minutes depending on the hour. We plan bathroom and coffee stops into the run rather than pretending it is a short hop, and the price does not change if you take one. Late-evening arrivals are common on this route and cost the same as a midday landing.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 90–150 minute drive to the Playa Esmeralda access road and on to the Secrets — not Dreams — reception.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
