Where Punta Palmera sits and how access works

Punta Palmera is a gated residential and apartment community on the Bávaro side, 20 to 30 minutes from PUJ, rented out almost entirely by individual owners rather than by a hotel desk. That means there is no reception to ask at: the guard at the entrance works from an owner's list, and the block letters and unit numbers are the only address there is. Send the unit number and the name your host registered, along with any code or written instruction they gave you, and we hand it to the driver before the day. If you are arriving late, tell us who is meeting you with the key — we would rather wait with you at the door than leave a family standing at a gate at two in the morning. Tell us too if the final lane is car-accessible or golf-cart only.

How the pickup works

2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 20–30 minute drive to the Punta Palmera entrance, past the guard with your name registered, and on to your unit door.

What we need from you

A villa or apartment is not a hotel lobby, so four details make the difference between a smooth arrival and a slow one:

• The community name exactly as your host writes it.
• The house, villa or apartment number.
• Any gate instruction, guard-list name or access code your host gave you.
• Whether the final lane is car-accessible or golf-cart only.
