When we recommend leaving Cap Cana
For Cap Cana we recommend a pickup 2.5 hours before your flight time. It is our own operating advice rather than an airline rule, and it is shorter than the Bávaro figure for one reason: you are ten minutes from the terminal. What eats the time here is not the road but the front end — villa checkout, the gate exit and, for the marina and golf villas, the extra minutes of driving inside the community before you even reach the main road. The buffer leaves you comfortable at the airline counter and through security without sitting at the gate for half a morning. If you are flying at a peak hour, travelling with six or more people, or leaving from a villa where the manager still needs to do a walkthrough, add 30 minutes and tell us when you book.
