Where Hyatt Ziva sits and where we stop

Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is the family side of the Hyatt pair inside the Cap Cana enclave — Ziva and Zilara share one access road, one security post and, from the road, one very similar façade. That is where arrivals go wrong. Unless you tell us otherwise, the driver stops at the Ziva lobby, because that is the check-in desk family bookings belong to; guests who end up at the Zilara door have to be driven round again with the luggage still loaded. Gate registration is the standard Cap Cana routine: the guard takes the guest name and the property from the booking we already hold, the barrier opens, and there is nothing to negotiate or pay at the post. From PUJ the whole run is 10 to 15 minutes, so the gate is usually the longest part of the trip.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 10–15 minute drive to the Cap Cana gate, then on to the Hyatt Ziva lobby.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $29. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
