Where Riu Naiboa sits and where we stop

Riu Naiboa is the inland hotel of the Riu group in the Arena Gorda and Bávaro area, which means the approach is not the beachfront road most guests picture. The entrance sits behind the beachfront Riu properties, and drivers who only know the beach hotels can spend ten minutes looping the complex. We set the correct entrance in advance, so the car stops at the Naiboa reception and nowhere else. Because the group shares shuttle lanes, arrival traffic at the barrier peaks when charter buses unload — a private car still gets through, but a mid-afternoon landing may add a few minutes. Allow 25 to 35 minutes from PUJ.

How the pickup works

3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 25–35 minute drive to the Riu complex, past the beachfront hotels to the inland Naiboa reception.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
