Where Riu Bambú sits and where we stop

Riu Bambú is the third hotel in the same RIU complex as Riu Palace Bávaro and Riu Palace Punta Cana, and all three share the one entrance road and security checkpoint. Guests occasionally book under a similar-sounding name by mistake, so we confirm Riu Bambú specifically with the booking and note it on the driver's sheet before the day. Past the shared checkpoint, the internal road splits toward each hotel's own reception, and Riu Bambú's lobby is a short, separate drive from its two Palace-branded neighbours. The trip from PUJ takes 20 to 30 minutes on the main Bávaro highway before the turn into the shared RIU access road, and drop-off is made directly at the Riu Bambú reception, not a general complex gate.

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.

How long is the drive from PUJ to Riu Bambú?
20–30 min in normal traffic. Third lobby on the same shared RIU access road, at the northern end of the Bávaro strip. The car is yours alone, so there are no other pickups or hotel stops on the way.
Where does the driver meet us at Riu Bambú?
In the PUJ arrivals hall with a name sign, then drop-off at the Riu Bambú lobby, one of three separate receptions on the shared RIU access road.
There are several RIU hotels at one entrance — will the driver find the right lobby?
Yes. Riu Bambú is confirmed as the exact property with your booking, and that name is given to the checkpoint guard so the vehicle is routed to the Bambú lobby and not one of the two Palace hotels sharing the same road.
