Where Iberostar Dominicana sits and where we stop

Iberostar Dominicana sits on the Bávaro strip next to its twin, Iberostar Punta Cana, and the two share a single gate off the main road — this is not the same property as Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus, which is a different resort altogether on the Bayahibe side of the country. Because both Bávaro hotels use one checkpoint, the guard needs the exact property name from the booking to wave the driver toward the right lobby rather than the neighbouring one. We send that name ahead so there is no guesswork at the gate. The drive from PUJ is 20 to 30 minutes on the Bávaro highway, then a short stretch on the shared internal road to the Dominicana reception, which has its own check-in desk separate from Iberostar Punta Cana.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.

3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 20–30 minute drive to the shared Iberostar entrance and drop-off at the Dominicana lobby.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
