Where Meliá Caribe sits and where we stop

Meliá Caribe Beach Resort sits in the central part of the Bávaro strip, back from the beach behind extensive grounds that the car crosses after the security post. The name is the trap here: Meliá Caribe Beach is not Meliá Punta Cana Village, which is a different property closer to the airport in a different zone. We book you to Meliá Caribe Beach and confirm that in writing, so nobody ends up unloading at the wrong Meliá with a flight-tired family in tow. If your reservation is actually the Village property, tell us and we simply quote that zone instead. From PUJ the drive is 20 to 30 minutes, priced per vehicle.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 20–30 minute drive into the Meliá Caribe grounds and drop-off at the Meliá Caribe Beach lobby.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
