Where Meliá Punta Cana Beach sits and where we stop

Meliá Punta Cana Beach Resort is the adults-only half of the Meliá grounds in Bávaro, sharing an entrance road with the family-oriented Meliá Caribe Beach. Both names sound alike to a driver reading a sheet in a hurry, which is why we write the full property name and note whether you are in the standard resort or The Level. Past the shared security post, the internal road splits: family arrivals continue to Meliá Caribe, adults-only guests turn towards the Punta Cana Beach reception, and The Level guests are received at their own desk inside that same building. Getting this right saves a luggage transfer across the grounds at the end of a long flight. The drive from PUJ is 20 to 30 minutes and it is billed at the Bávaro rate: $35 Standard, $79 VIP, per vehicle one way.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 20–30 minute drive to the Meliá Bávaro security post and on to the Meliá Punta Cana Beach adults-only reception (or The Level desk).

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
