Where Occidental Caribe sits and where we stop

Occidental Caribe sits on the airport side of the Bávaro area, which makes it one of the quicker runs in the zone, and it belongs to the same Barceló group as Occidental Punta Cana further along the strip. Those two names cause most of the confusion here: they are separate resorts with separate gates, and a car sent to the wrong one costs you fifteen minutes plus a re-entry at the correct checkpoint. We confirm which Occidental appears on your booking before dispatch and write it on the driver sheet. At the gate the guard checks the guest name, then the vehicle continues to the main reception where the check-in desks are. The drive from PUJ is 20 to 30 minutes and is priced at the Bávaro zone rate of $35 Standard or $79 VIP per vehicle.

How the pickup works

2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 20–30 minute drive to the Occidental Caribe gate and main reception — confirmed as Caribe, not Occidental Punta Cana.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
