Where Occidental Punta Cana sits and where we stop
Occidental Punta Cana sits on the Barceló side of Bávaro, reached along the same access road that serves Barceló Bávaro Palace and Barceló Bávaro Beach. That shared road is where drop-offs go wrong: three receptions in a row, and a driver working from "Barceló area" will stop at the first canopy. We list Occidental Punta Cana by name so the guard logs it and the driver carries on to the correct reception. The other point worth settling in advance is the sister property, Occidental Caribe, which is a separate resort nearer the airport road — confirming which one is on your voucher takes one WhatsApp message and avoids a doubled transfer. From PUJ the run is 20 to 30 minutes at the Bávaro rate: $35 Standard or $79 VIP, one way per vehicle, taxes included.
