Where Club Med sits and where we stop
Club Med Punta Cana sits on the beach immediately south of the airport, inside the Puntacana Resort area that also holds the Village. It is one of the shortest transfers on our list: 10 to 15 minutes, most of it on the resort access road rather than the tourist highway. That closeness is exactly why the price is $29 and not a Bávaro figure — you never join the Bávaro corridor at all. The one thing worth confirming is the entrance: the access road serves several Puntacana Resort properties and a security post checks the guest name before the barrier, so we register your booking in advance and the driver stops at the Club Med reception rather than at a shared junction. Families arriving with strollers and car seats should send the count with the booking so the right vehicle is assigned before the day.
